Symbolic Space Circle
About
A small facilitated circle using bodily awareness, movement and symbols in space to explore personal intentions, meeting fortnightly at The Salisbury Centre.
Symbolic Space Circle is a reflective group practice developed by Ekaterina Shurkova, drawing on her cognitive neuroscience background. Each session begins with a grounding exercise, after which an individual or group intention is formulated and explored through bodily sensations, images, associations, provided objects and movement within the room. Sessions are limited to six participants and adapted to the intentions brought, with optional sharing throughout. The circle runs fortnightly on Thursdays from 9 July to 3 December, 15:00–17:00, as part of The Salisbury Centre's community programme.
