Make a Wooden Deckchair, 4 Hour Class

A four-hour hands-on woodworking class at The Great British Woodshop where participants build a wooden deckchair from scratch to take home.

This four-hour workshop teaches participants to build a wooden deckchair from scratch, which they take home at the end. Skills covered include measuring and marking out, working from plans, preparing and cutting wood to size, pocket hole joinery, using routers, and sanding and preparing for finish. A minimum of two bookings is required for the course to run, and attendees are advised to wear warm clothes in winter as the workshop can feel cold.
