About
A half-day beginner upholstery class teaching how to strip, pad and recover a dining chair seat using tools and materials.
A half-day, three-hour beginner upholstery class at The Great British Woodshop in which participants learn to strip, pad and recover a dining chair slip seat, replacing foam, wadding and fabric. Students bring their own chair or slip seat (or work on one provided) and half a square metre of fabric, with materials also available to buy on the day. The class covers basic upholstery tools and techniques, though broken or frame-upholstered chairs are left to the separate full-day course.
