Digital Art: A Beginners Workshop for iPad and Procreate in a Gallery Setting

A one-day beginner workshop teaching iPad drawing with the Procreate app, using the gallery space for creative inspiration.

Tutor Rosie Johnson leads a one-day workshop for beginners wanting to start digital art with an iPad, Apple Pencil and the Procreate app. The day is split into three stages: learning the basics of drawing, brushes, layers and colour; exploring effects, inserting and manipulating images and adding text; and finally preparing work to sell, including repeat patterns, logos and saving for print. Participants take creative inspiration from the gallery space at Attenborough Arts and must bring their own iPad, digital pencil and Procreate app. Recommended for ages 14+, with under-18s accompanied by a paying adult.
