Upcycle Clothing: Teens Workshop 1 – Embroidery & Visible Mending

A hands-on upcycling workshop for ages 13-19 teaching hand embroidery and visible mending techniques to refresh, repair or reimagine old clothing.

This is the first session in a three-part teen upcycling workshop series at Bradford Industrial Museum. Participants aged 13-19 learn basic hand embroidery, visible mending methods and creative ways to customise garments, bringing along an item of clothing to mend or reimagine. No previous sewing experience is required, and contact details for a parent, guardian or responsible adult are needed when booking. Sessions can be booked individually or as a full programme to build skills and confidence.
