Upcycle Clothing: Teens Workshop 2 – Sew a Bag from Repurposed Fabric
About
A hands-on sewing workshop for ages 13-19 at Bradford Industrial Museum, teaching machine sewing basics by making a reusable bag from old clothing or fabric remnants.
This three-hour session for 13-19 year olds introduces the basics of using a sewing machine while participants construct a simple reusable bag from old clothing or fabric remnants they bring along. No previous sewing experience is required, and attendees learn safe machine use, basic sewing techniques and creative ways to repurpose textiles. It is part of a three-part teen upcycling workshop series at Bradford Industrial Museum, and sessions can be booked individually or as a full programme.
