Second World War and the Exeter Blitz Gallery Handling
About
A free drop-in gallery handling session at RAMM where visitors can handle wartime objects and learn about Exeter during the Second World War and the Blitz.
RAMM volunteers guide visitors through the museum's collection relating to the Exeter Blitz and everyday life on the wartime Home Front, with the chance to handle authentic and replica objects. The drop-in activity suits individuals, families and small groups, and is fully accessible except for the Anderson Shelter experience, which has restricted access. Sessions run on selected dates through to December 2026; the 307 Polish Squadron display will not appear at the October 2026 half-term sessions and is due to return on 16 February 2027.
