A course teaching students how to construct and fit a trial garment using a flat pattern block in calico.
This course builds on previous work by having students construct a trial garment (toile) in calico. Participants will learn about fabric grain, pattern piece placement, and accurate cutting. A fitting session allows students to analyze the fit, identify necessary adjustments, and modify the paper pattern block accordingly.
