Silver Hoop Earrings

A beginner-friendly one-day jewellery workshop making a set of silver hoop earrings at the Central Scotland School of Jewellery in Dunblane.

This one-day beginners workshop at the Central Scotland School of Jewellery teaches participants to create a corresponding set of silver hoop earrings. Students first experiment with texturing and forming metal in copper using hammers and pliers, then move on to sterling silver, learning to size, shape and solder small simple hoops and statement hoops. The day also covers finishing skills such as filing, polishing and refining, with tools, silver, tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
