Stacking Gemstone Rings Workshop

A one-day beginners jewellery workshop at Central Scotland School of Jewellery where participants make three textured silver stacking rings, one set with a gemstone.

This hands-on workshop guides beginners through making a set of three delicate, textured silver rings, one featuring a gemstone set in a silver bezel using a ready-made setting. The day begins with a demonstration covering texturing, soldering, shaping and polishing, including tips on using a handheld blowtorch, before participants size, saw, shape, solder and polish their own rings with expert guidance. All tools, silver and small gemstones are provided, with extra settings and stones available to purchase at cost price. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included, and participants should wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair.
