Aluminium For Beginners Jewellery Workshop
About
A one-day beginners workshop at Central Scotland School of Jewellery exploring colour and pattern on aluminium for contemporary jewellery.
This lively one-day beginners workshop teaches how to create a variety of effects for contemporary jewellery using lightweight aluminium, which keeps its bright colours over time. Students explore pattern and colour through stamping, dip dyeing and forming techniques, using pre-anodised sheets to make colourful samples and, if time allows, a cuff plus earrings or a pendant. Tutor Trisha Smith, CSSJ's aluminium expert, trained with designer Lindsey Mann. All materials are provided; tea, coffee and biscuits are included.
