Vegetative grass identification course (Devon)

A two-day course at Chudleigh Town Hall teaching how to identify grass species vegetatively, with indoor sessions and site visits.

Teylu Ecology runs this two-day training course on identifying grasses without flowers, a skill useful year-round for habitat surveys. Day one introduces grass structure and identification keys using indoor samples, with afternoon visits to local sites; day two consolidates learning before further fieldwork. Aimed at ecological consultants, land managers and conservationists, it also offers practice for FISC assessments. Sessions run 10am–4pm each day with arrival from 9.45am.
