Using 'The Vegetative Key to the British Flora' by Poland and Clement
About
A one-day botanical training course teaching confident use of Poland and Clement's Vegetative Key to the British Flora, indoors and at a local site.
Teylu Ecology runs this one-day course building confidence in using 'The Vegetative Key to the British Flora' by Poland and Clement, which helps identify plants when no flowering structures are present. The morning is spent indoors at Exwick Community Centre practising with pre-collected samples, followed by an afternoon visit to a local site to continue keying practice. It is aimed at ecological consultants, farm advisers, land managers and conservationists who carry out habitat surveys year-round. Tutor Hannah Gibbons has run plant identification training since 2011.
