Leather Belt Making Workshop

A hands-on two-hour workshop where participants make their own traditional leather belt by hand, guided by tutor Freya Corry.

A two-hour hands-on workshop in which participants make a traditional leather belt by hand from vegetable-tanned leather. Tutor Freya Corry demonstrates each stage, covering measuring and cutting the belt to size, shaping and finishing edges, punching holes and fitting the buckle. Participants can personalise their belt using traditional leatherworking tools such as stamps and decorative marks, and no previous experience is needed.
