Chess and DJ Night - Second Time!

An evening of relaxed chess under the Portico's Georgian dome with a bebop jazz DJ set and a chess-piece design workshop.

The Portico Library hosts a second Chess and DJ Night, with relaxed chess playing beneath its Georgian dome accompanied by Jasper Cheng's DJ set of bebop jazz. Visitors can bring their own chess set (two sets provided on a first-come-first-served basis) and join a 'Design Your Own Chess Piece' workshop led by commissioned artist Hattie Kongaunruan, with all materials provided. For an additional £22, participants can have their bespoke design 3D printed in a chosen colour, to collect later at the library. Refreshments are available to purchase.
