Your Place to Be – A Group for Carers
About
A free monthly support group at The Amelia Scott for unpaid carers, combining creative activities with resources on burnout, stress and self-care.
Your Place to Be is a monthly group for people caring for someone, whether a family member or friend living nearby or far away. The sessions are aimed at those supporting people with mental health difficulties, physical care needs, Alzheimer's, dementia or a neurodiverse child. Alongside creative activities designed to relax and ground participants, the group offers resources on burnout, stress and self-care, giving carers a chance to reset and recharge. Sessions run on the first Monday of the month, 1pm–2.30pm, until 2 March 2027.
