About

A seminar discussing which ports in South West England and Wales will benefit from Celtic Sea offshore development, with three industry speakers.

This seminar examines the emerging network of ports around the Celtic Sea and the roles they could play in offshore development, from construction and assembly to operations, maintenance and specialist marine services. Speakers Miles Carden (Falmouth Harbour), Matt Hodson (Celtic Sea Power) and Drystan Jones (Balaena Falmouth) discuss what determines whether ports capture lasting economic value, jobs and investment. The session also considers what Falmouth needs to do to turn its location, harbour and marine expertise into sustained economic value for the town and Cornwall.
