About

A seminar on how science, environmental regulation and marine monitoring shape the growth of the Atlantic economy, featuring Philippa Hoskin and further speakers.

This seminar examines how ecological assessment, marine monitoring, consenting and environmental regulation shape offshore development in the Celtic Sea and wider Atlantic region. Confirmed speaker Philippa Hoskin, Nature Recovery Manager at Cornwall Council, will be joined by two further speakers to be announced, including at least one marine environment monitoring company. The session also explores the emergence of a new economic sector built on environmental data, specialist monitoring and scientific consultancy.
