Knepp’s expert ecologists lead a three-hour walk through the rewilding project, with frequent stops to look for red stags and their harems, fallow deer, Tamworth pigs and winter thrushes. The route visits a deer hide at a fallow display ground, where guests are served Wild Range charcuterie and a tot of Knepp homemade sloe gin. Meet at the Cow Barn, New Barn Farm. The ground is uneven and can be wet, wellies are essential in wet weather, and steps lead into the hide. Guests must be over 12; anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
