Botanical Ink Workshop
About
A full-day botanical-ink workshop at Woods Mill, exploring natural dyes, colour and mark-making.
In a full-day workshop at Woods Mill, natural dyer Fiona demonstrates how to make botanical inks from plants in the garden and local environment. Participants create colour swatches, experiment with modifiers and explore the patterns and textures made as inks combine on paper. They can also make brushes from natural materials and use them to create gift tags and cards. The workshop is suitable for beginners and more experienced natural dyers. Attendees must be 18 or over. Bring lunch and drinks; tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. The page says ticket sales have ended and the event is sold out.
