About

A monthly heritage working weekend brings the museum’s rural machinery and traditional crafts to life.

The museum team demonstrates machinery and skills from its rural collections. Depending on the season and available craftspeople, visitors may encounter tractors, the flour mill, spinning and weaving, woodturning, vintage fire engines, buses and bicycles. Activities vary with the craftspeople and equipment available. The programme is advertised for the fourth weekend of the month; the currently listed date is 25 October.
