Wild Teens: Bushcraft & Survival Skills Afternoon (ECC 2808)
About
A two-hour outdoor bushcraft and survival skills session for 11–16 year olds at Foxburrow Nature Reserve, run by Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
This Wild Teens holiday session gives 11–16 year olds a hands-on afternoon of bushcraft and survival skills, held entirely outdoors at Foxburrow Nature Reserve. Participants learn to collect and shape green wood using saws, knives and drills, and practise survival techniques such as building shelters, lighting fires with natural tinders and cooking over fires. The session also encourages time spent with others and connecting with nature. Closed-toe shoes and long trousers are required for tool use, and young people must be dropped off and collected by an adult who confirms emergency contact details.
