A Fresh Thursday gig pairing experimental Japanese post-punk duo Heavenphetamine with the new Lambton Tapewyrm collaboration, served with a home-cooked vegan meal.
Fresh Thursday is Cobalt Studios' regular seated night of new music accompanied by a home-cooked plant-based meal, board games and candles. This edition features Heavenphetamine, a duo of Hiroki and Sara blending psychedelic rock, post-punk, prog, trip hop and acid house with synth loops, live drums and Japanese vocals, alongside Lambton Tapewyrm, a new collaboration between Jasmine Padgett and Jorge Boehringer using found instruments and lo- and hi-fi sounds. Doors open at 7pm with dinner served around 8pm, music starting shortly after and finishing by around 10.15pm.
