About
Baritone Christopher Maltman and pianist Joseph Middleton perform Schubert's Winterreise in an evening recital at the Leeds Song Festival.
Grammy Award-winning baritone Christopher Maltman returns to Leeds to perform Schubert's Winterreise, the deeply psychological song cycle setting Wilhelm Müller's poems about a rejected lover's bleak winter journey. He is joined by pianist Joseph Middleton, described by The Times as 'the perfect accompanist'. The recital lasts two hours and forms part of the Leeds Song Festival.
