Mersey Film Unit Showcase + Q&A
About
Five documentaries by Merseyside filmmakers explore the region through personal archives and everyday observation, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
Mersey Film Unit, a documentary project from independent company Shut Out The Light Films, brings together five documentaries made in 2026, each offering a different perspective on life in Merseyside. The project invites local artists to observe the region through film, from personal archive material to scenes of everyday life. Amina Atiq, Dylan Cubbin, Jayne Lawless, Jane MacNeil and Ed Rimmer will all join the post-screening Q&A.
Doors open at 18:00, the screening begins at 18:30 and the Q&A starts at 19:20. This Community Cinema event has no adverts. Booking is required.
