Silk Wood

A volunteer-guided discovery walk through Silk Wood's ancient woodland at Westonbirt Arboretum.

This guided discovery walk takes the path less travelled into Silk Wood to explore ancient woodland that has existed for 2,000 years. Led by dedicated volunteers, the walk lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and is fully outdoors, so weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy closed-toed footwear are recommended. Participants meet at the Welcome Building 5-10 minutes before the start, and dogs are not permitted except assistance dogs.
