Sound Bath Oakham

A guided sound bath meditation at Exton Village Hall, using instruments such as singing bowls, gongs and drums to help participants relax and release stress.

Sunshine and Light Sound Baths and Retreats hosts a 75-minute sound bath at Exton Village Hall near Oakham. The session begins with a short guided meditation to calm the body and still the mind, followed by an immersive soundscape of healing sounds played around and over participants as they lie comfortably on mats. Instruments include the Singing Bowl, Gong, Hand pan, Shamanic Drum, Sansula, Koshi Bells and Rainstick, with the aim of releasing stress and tension and restoring balance. Attendees should bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and comfortable clothes; doors open at 2:45pm for a prompt 3pm start, and entry is not permitted once the sound bath has begun. Under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
