Blacksmith Experience Days at High Peak Junction

Make a simple metalwork object with a blacksmith at the original forge in the railway workshop.

Participants make a simple metalworking object such as a barbecue fork, fire poker or coat hook, using the original forge and hand-pumped bellows dating from the 1830s. Two sessions are listed on each date, 10:00–13:00 and 13:30–16:30. Participants must be over 16. The old workshop has uneven floors and narrow doorways; contact the venue before visiting if access is a concern.
