Big Telescopes for Small Astronomers

A family evening combines views through historic telescopes with a family planetarium experience, with hot drinks and a children’s biscuit included.

Families can explore the night sky through the Observatory’s historic telescopes and take part in a planetarium experience. The ticket includes a warm drink and a biscuit for each child and a hot drink for each adult. Gates open at 17:00 and the event finishes at 20:30. The event runs in poor weather with indoor astronomy activities instead of being cancelled.
