Open Studios

Studio holders at The Art House open their studios to visitors, offering a first-hand look at the practice of contemporary artists, designers and craftspeople in Wakefield. Visitors can see demonstrations of making processes, view artworks where they were created and buy original work directly from the makers. The day also includes the chance to explore the Grade II listed former Carnegie Library, see the maker spaces in action, browse the CRAFTED Makers Market and enjoy refreshments from the coffee shop. The event is family-friendly and dog-friendly.
