Building Your Digital Skills for Life

A free 10-week digital skills course at Mary Ward Centre, Stratford, teaching document creation, email and online safety in a supportive classroom setting.

This 10-week course is the first term of a three-term programme for learners with basic digital experience who want to build confidence using digital tools. Term 1 covers creating and formatting documents, sending emails and staying safe online, taught through hands-on practice on classroom computers with written handouts. Learners need English at E3/L1 level, and the tutor may later put students forward for the Essential Digital Skills Qualification at Entry Level 3. The course is now full.
