Breathwork & Sound Bath - Marlborough
About
An evening of guided conscious connected breathwork held within a live sound bath at St Mary's Church Hall, Marlborough.
This two-hour session combines conscious connected breathwork, guided by Richard Dunn of Alchemy of Breath, with a sound bath led by Alison Heaslewood, who trained with the British Academy of Sound Therapy. While participants maintain a steady, continuous breathing rhythm, they are held in sound created with shamanic and tongue drums, crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, vocals, chimes and percussion. The organisers describe the practice as a way to influence brainwaves, release tension and support physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. The event is in person, for ages 18+, and attendees are asked to bring a mat, blanket, shallow pillow and water, avoiding eating for 90 minutes beforehand.
