Copper Botanicals ~ Inspired by Nature

A one-day copper metalworking workshop at Butser Ancient Farm, combining a foraging walk with creating a personal copper table decoration.

This one-day workshop (11am–3pm with a lunch break) begins with a guided walk around the site to gather inspiration from seasonal nature in the South Downs National Park. Participants are then led by artist and metalworker Lydia Asscher through a variety of copper working techniques to translate their ideas into a personal copper table decoration. No experience is necessary; the ticket includes farm entrance, tuition, and all tools and materials. Lunch is not included, and the workshop is intended for adults.
