Turner Prize 2026 Teacher Exclusive Events

Free evening sessions giving teachers exclusive out-of-hours access to the Turner Prize 2026 exhibition, with classroom-ready activities and discussion ideas.

MIMA hosts two free evening events for teachers during the Turner Prize 2026 exhibition, the first ever held in the Tees Valley. Attendees get exclusive access to the Turner Prize artists' work outside normal hours, with sessions themed around curriculum subject areas. Each two-hour session promises at least one activity, one discussion method and one project idea to take back to the classroom, with refreshments from 16:30 before a 17:00 start.
