Walkshop: Drawing Light
About
A guided creative walk led by Amelia Daiz, inspired by Sarah Cunningham's paintings, using drawing activities to capture the changing evening light.
This walkshop, led by Associate Artist Amelia Daiz, is inspired by the Sarah Cunningham exhibition at Nottingham Contemporary. Beginning in the early evening and continuing through golden hour and sunset, participants try a variety of activities and material experiments to capture changing light, exploring how shapes, colour, shadows and silhouettes shift. No previous artistic experience is needed, all materials are provided, and artworks can be taken home. Afterwards, attendees are welcome to stay at Blend at Contemporary for a complimentary cake and hot drink.
