About
A technical learning session on Scottish stone conservation, with morning talks, a networking lunch and an optional afternoon walking tour of Stirling's Old Town.
A technical conservation learning session at the Engine Shed exploring Scotland's use of stone in the historic built environment. Four morning talks cover the range of Scottish stone, best practice in stone repair, and innovative methods of identifying, matching and procuring new stone for conservation and newbuild projects. Full-day attendees also join an afternoon walking tour of Stirling's Old Town discussing stone conservation issues, and a virtual ticket is available for the morning session via Microsoft Teams. The session counts towards CPD with a certificate of attendance issued.
