Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Adaptive Re-use of Buildings
About
A technical learning session on climate change threats to Scotland's traditional buildings and principles of energy-efficient retrofitting, with a virtual option.
This day-long learning session explores how climate change threatens Scotland's historic built environment through increased rainfall, rising temperatures and sea levels, and how policy and practical solutions can protect it. The morning covers climate change policy and emerging solutions, with a networking lunch, while the afternoon examines practical, economical approaches to retrofitting traditional buildings for improved energy efficiency. Aimed at heritage professionals, graduates and building practitioners, it counts towards CPD with a certificate of attendance, and a virtual option is available via Microsoft Teams.
