Harp Songs for a Winter’s Night with Keziah Thomas

Award-winning harpist Keziah Thomas performs a solo pedal harp concert of winter, Advent and Christmas music inside Butser Ancient Farm's Iron Age roundhouse.

Keziah Thomas gives a two-hour solo pedal harp concert in the Great Roundhouse at Butser Ancient Farm, celebrating the music of Advent and Christmas through the ages. The programme ranges from ancient carols and Celtic melodies to classical works, including Vivaldi's Winter from The Four Seasons and music inspired by Tchaikovsky's wintry landscapes. The evening takes place after normal opening hours, with a bar selling local cider and mead plus hot drinks and seasonal snacks, and open fires in the roundhouse. It is primarily aimed at adults, though older children who would enjoy it are welcome, and profits support the farm's educational and research work.
