Graveyard Futures Symposium
About
A one-day symposium in Stirling and online on the future care of Scotland's historic graveyards, bringing together stakeholders to share practice and strategise.
This one-day seminar gathers people and organisations from across Scotland who have a role in caring for historic graveyards, places valued for heritage, memory, biodiversity and community. Speakers including Fife Council, Tayside Biodiversity Partnership, the Scottish Churches Trust and Arc Architects will share experience and good practice. Sessions cover shared visions for graveyard futures, integrated heritage skills and wall and structure management, and understanding funerary landscapes and recent legislation. The event runs from 10am to 4pm and can be attended in person or online.
