Dungeons and Dragons: The Shadows of Elder Marsh
About
A full-day immersive tabletop Dungeons & Dragons adventure inspired by British folklore, played across Butser Ancient Farm's historic buildings.
Players take part in 'The Shadows of Elder Marsh', a specially written tabletop roleplaying adventure inspired by Britain's mythic and folkloric past, staged across the site's Iron Age Roundhouse, Roman Villa and Saxon Hall. Organised by storyteller Jason Buck and presented by professional Game Masters, the day is split into chapters with a different GM leading each, and tables of no more than six players. Pre-made characters are provided, novices and experienced players are welcome, and the event is suitable for ages 16 and over, with under-18s accompanied by an adult.
