Refillable Bookbinding Workshop

A one-day workshop with bookbinder Cass Barron making a refillable A6 hardback journal with a leather elastic spine, pockets and hand-stitched booklets.

Participants construct a hardback A6 notebook with a leather spine threaded with elastic that holds multiple removable booklets, plus pocket details inside. Tutor Cass Barron demonstrates building the book cover, attaching the spine and hand-stitching booklets to slot in, so the book can be refilled for years. All materials are included, tea and coffee are provided, and participants bring their own lunch; the class is suitable for over-16s.
