A one-day hand embroidery workshop with textile artist Chloe Patience, teaching sequin and beaded embellishment techniques at the Scottish Craft School in Dunblane.
Textile designer Chloe Patience, founder of the bebaroque label, leads a full-day workshop on three-dimensional hand embroidery using sequins and beads. Participants learn professional stitching techniques, layering threads, wools, beads and sequins — including recycled and repurposed materials — to build texture and sparkle. Each attendee creates an embellished embroidered patch to apply to clothing or accessories, with materials and tools provided. Suitable for complete beginners and experienced stitchers; classes are for over-16s, with younger crafters welcome if accompanied by a participating adult.
