French Link Stitch Bookbinding Workshop
About
A one-day bookbinding workshop with Cass at the Scottish Craft School, making an A6 hardback book with exposed French Link Stitch.
Tutor Cass leads a full-day workshop (11am–4pm) at the Scottish Craft School in Dunblane, where participants create an A6 hardback book using exposed French Link Stitch binding, incorporating multiple ribbons into the spine and remnant fabric or paper into the cover. The resulting book opens flat, making it ideal as a sketchbook or journal, and the session also covers adding envelopes and pockets. Suitable for beginners and keen bookbinders over 16, with all materials provided and video tutorials sent afterwards; participants bring their own lunch.
