Life Drawing: Charcoal & Pastels
About
A nine-week Friday afternoon life drawing course at Attenborough Arts Centre focusing on charcoal and pastels, taught by artist Scott Bridgwood.
This nine-week course explores rendering the human form in charcoal and pastels, with each session combining a series of short poses and one longer pose. Tutor Scott Bridgwood guides participants through exercises, demonstrates with examples of his own work, and offers feedback through individual tuition and group discussion. Participants experiment with colour palettes, monochrome work, coloured papers and different drawing surfaces. All materials are provided and the course is open to adults aged 18 and over, from beginners to those with more experience.
